Healthy Tomorrow is an educational application developed by McMillen Health, a prominent organization in the field of preventive health education. This initiative aims to enhance health outcomes for parents and their families, utilizing the Safe, Stable, Nurturing Families Model. The app features concise, accessible educational videos, a discussion forum, and a unique portal for users to invite supporters to engage in their journey.

In 2018, McMillen Health undertook a community needs assessment entitled "In Her Words" to explore avenues for addressing the opioid epidemic. Through candid discussions with pregnant and new parents affected by opioid use disorder (OUD) as well as professionals working with families impacted by neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), significant insights were gained.

The assessment revealed a critical gap in the availability of accessible educational resources tailored to this demographic. Participants expressed a strong preference for video-based content that could be conveniently accessed via mobile devices. These findings served as the impetus for the creation of Healthy Tomorrow.

The app offers educational videos tailored to parents on vital topics such as OUD and NAS, safe sleep practices, breastfeeding, birth spacing, prenatal nutrition, tobacco cessation, and overall prenatal health. Users are incentivized to engage with content by earning rewards through video viewing and completion of brief assessments.
